Gov 2.0 Innovators

National Archives of Australia

The Archives has consistantly looked to provide web 2.0 style web products that provide the Australian people with direct opportunities to access great info (such as their recent mashup on Google and war records) and their photo wall which invited people to add personal stories to historical photos.

Of course, the archives dogged evangalising on the importance of metadata within records has been brilliant. The record keeping boffins in the archive will have their day in the sunshine as the rest of APS realises how important structured semantic tagging is the web 2.0 and 3.0

The archives should be acknowledged for the constistent efforts of their web and recordkeeping teams
