  Parliament of Australia - Live Broadcasting (and Replays)

  http://www.govdex.gov.au While not a tool that directly serves the public, GovDex is: "...an Australian Government initiative that supports collaboration across government. It provides a secure, private, web-based space for government agencies to manage projects and their stakeholders, share documents and information, and manage secretariat responsibilities." GovDex is a collection of several off-the-shelf open-source ...more »

  While not a tool that directly serves the public, GovDex is:

  "...an Australian Government initiative that supports collaboration across government. It provides a secure, private, web-based space for government agencies to manage projects and their stakeholders, share documents and information, and manage secretariat responsibilities."

  GovDex is a collection of several off-the-shelf open-source tools for collaboration, each of which (in its current configuration) falls short of meeting WCAG2 (and ATAG) guidelines in some way.

  NLA's Historic Australian Newspapers site

  The NLA's Historic Australian Newspapers site:

  This site is not a typical Website and incorporates many Web 2.0 elements, in terms of both layout and functionality. The site has also published its User Interface Design Principles here http://www.nla.gov.au/ndp/project_details/documents/ANDP_UI_principles.pdf

  PM's Media Gallery

  http://www.pm.gov.au/Media_Centre/Multimedia This site already goes a long way towards accessibility efforts, but: - Individual videos aren't easily bookmarkable (unless you're using the MediaRSS feed) - No closed captions (but transcripts are available) - Clickable links to HTML transcript and WMV download appear to be rendered as (and require?) Flash player - Difficulties navigating current video with keyboard-only ...more »
