Better interaction with public!

Given the adoption rate of social media and web 2.0 concepts in communicating with people en mass, in my humble opinion the government could continuously release non-sensitive data to the public and showcase some of the most useful applications. Make publication of selected data sets part of each agency's formal outputs

One of the barriers to publication/disclosure of useful data sets is that it is a low priority compared other policy or service delivery obligations. The reality is that agency heads prioritise activities towards those things that are critical to delivery of their outputs and that are reported on in annual reports.
